Michael Math, Planes, and the Aura

The universe is complex and practical, and it does not predictably order the patterns of seven the same way in every context. With the planes of creation, the first three mirror the last. For example, the physical and buddhaic planes, first and last, are both on the action axis. With the aura, the first three parallel the last (according to Barbara Brennan3). However, with the Michael math numbers, one corresponds with the role of server and the inspiration axis, whereas seven corresponds with king and the action axis. The first three neither mirror nor parallel the last, but are rearranged.

If Michael math followed the same order as the planes, warriors would be the most ordinal role rather than servers. Incarnation would be a different game. Servers give sentient souls a foundation of service rather than persuasion. It might be superficially elegant if Michael math contained the same symmetry the planes have, with the higher and lower mirroring, but it wouldn’t work well.

The lack of symmetry in relationship to numbers and roles vis-à-vis the axes is deliberate. The fact that each axis occupies a different position in the higher and lower triads ensures that one does not become predominant. If warriors were first and kings last, the action axis would be predominant—first and last are the most powerful positions.

However, beginning the grand cycle with a kinetic plane, the physical, and ending with a kinetic plane, the buddhaic, before rejoining the Tao, makes sense because the first and last planes are “closest” to the Tao, and pure energy must precede its differentiation into love and truth. Therefore, there is symmetry with the planes.

We caution against looking only for symmetry. The universe must be both symmetrical and asymmetrical in order to grow.
